    Growing and Granite:
    The Industrial North

    Throughout the last two centuries Guernsey’s now peaceful north-east corner was a hive of industrial activity. Walking the lanes surrounding the former Le Lande Estate, previously one of the largest vineries and home to numerous quarries, discover the growing and quarrying industries’ history and heritage.
